Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe Airport
Arrival in Entebbe, met by your professional safari driver/guide and transferred to Entebbe’s premiere guesthouse the Boma for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Rhino trek
After breakfast, you driver guide for the safari will pick you up from the hotel, you should be ready to leave by 7:00 am. You will then drive through Kampala suburbs driving north to Nakasongola to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to arrive before noon. You will then check into your tented accommodation that is elevated on a platform offering good views. You can decide to take a dip into the pool and simply enjoy your surroundings.

Afternoon Rhino Trekking -a trained ranger will meet you and give you an introduction to the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Depending on the location of the Rhinos, you will drive to the starting point and then approach the Rhinos on foot. You will then observe the Rhinos in a natural habitat at a close and safe distance. The Rhino trek excursion takes 1 -2 hours. You are advised to wear closed Shoes, Long Pants, and no bright colored clothing during the Rhino Trek.

Day 3: Drive to Kidepo Valley Game Park
Early departure for Kidepo Valley Park with a lunch break along the way, overnight Kidepo Savannah Lodge
The Park is a completely different world of vast plains, in spring view from every vantage point, with a lot of wildlife as you drive into the park. Kidepo offers breathtaking open savannah which is surrounded by spectacular mountain landscape nowhere to be seen in Africa! Kidepo Valley National Park is Uganda’s second biggest National Park one of Africa’s finest wilderness areas.

This evening you will take a sunset game drive in the Narus valley in search for the lions, Jackson hartebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, leopard and cheetah .

Day 4: Game drive
Early breakfast then drive off for the game drive to the ostrich farm along the way you will be able to view, herds of elephants, cape buffalos, giraffes, lions and then the hot springs at kanangorok, lunch at the lodge .

In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring you into contact with Karamojong peoples at Karenga and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items.

Day 5: Kidepo Valley National Park- Guided nature walk
After an early breakfast, you will be joined by an expert ranger guide for a nature walk to explore the park on foot away from the steel clad of safari car sharing his knowledge of the eco-system and also bring you closure to the animals and for birders, look out for Fox Kestrel, Eastern Chanting Goshawk, Grasshopper Buzzard, Montague’s Harrier, Fan Tailed Raven and the very rare Stone Partridge.

The afternoon will be spent relaxing and sightseeing around the lodge.

Day 6: Drive to Murchison Falls Game Park
Early departure for Murchison Falls Game park with lunch along the way, dinner and overnight Fort Murchison

Day 7: Game drives, launch cruise to the bottom of the falls
Early morning safari drive before the sun rises in the Buligi, Albert and Queen's track, you will see plenty of game. The tracks are found on the northern banks of the River Nile. Return to the lodge.

In the afternoon you will enjoy a boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Hippos and crocodiles are abundant and you will see elephants and buffaloes, waterbucks and birds like Herons, Cormorants, Ducks, bee eaters, fish eagles, king fishers and the rare shoebills. The boat trip to the falls and back takes 3 hours. Return to the lodge. If you are physically fit instead of returning by boat to the base you can decide to hike to the top of the falls instead. You vehicle and guide will be waiting for you at the top of the falls to drive you back to the lodge.
Overnight Fort Murchison

Day 8: Morning game drives then visit the top of the falls
You will spend the morning exploring more of the grasslands and woodlands of Murchison Falls National Park.
Later you will cross by ferry to the Southern bank of the River Nile to have lunch at your lodge. In the evening visit the top of the falls then return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Road transfer to Kibale Forest
After breakfast, you will embark on a long drive of approximately 8 – 9 hours to the western side of the country, to Kibale Forest National Park. This is a beautiful, forested area, which links into the QENP eco system. You will arrive late in the afternoon.

Day 10: Chimpanzee tracking /Bigodi Wetlands
After an early breakfast, you will be driven down to the Kibale Forest National Parks’ headquarters to meet your guides for who will accompany you to trek chimpanzees. You will find the forest alive with noise and you should be lucky enough to see the habituated chimps during your trek. The trek generally takes most of the morning, and then return to the lodge. Today we will a taste of the local food at Tinka’s for lunch and later a swamp walk in Bigodi Wetlands.

Day 11: Drive to Queen Elizabeth Game Park
After a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, you will depart the Kibale area for Queen Elizabeth N.P. You will drive passed the Rwenzori Mountains if lucky on a clear day you will have nice views of the mountain.
Queen Elizabeth has diverse Eco-systems of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers and swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to incredible abundance of wildlife. Lion, leopard, elephants, Cape buffalo, forest hog, Uganda kob, giant forest hogs, bush back, water back, can be seen on a game drive.

Day 12: Game drives/ launch trip on Kazinga Channel
Wake up very early in the morning and head out for a game drive in the Kasenyi track and Queen's mile in the park. During the game drive you may spot game like the lion, leopard, Uganda kob, elephants, cape buffalos, waterbucks and many other animals. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Later visit the Katwe salt pans.

In the afternoon there will be a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel. On this cruise you will see a high concentration of hippos and many other animals can be seen drinking at the water's edge. If time allows, you can go for another game drive.

Day 13: Ishasha
Today you will travel to Ishasha area of the park in search of the tree climbing lions, and other wildlife. Check into your accommodation. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive in the beautiful Queen Elizabeth National Park, hoping to spot tree-climbing lions and a host of other wildlife.

Day 14: Game Drive – Bwindi Forest
You will have a final game drive in Ishasha area before your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Your arrival here will be in time for lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a forest and waterfall walk to acclimatize.

Day 15: Gorilla Trekking day!
Early morning breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on your gorilla tracking from the park guides. You will then embark on your gorilla trek with the expert leadership of the park guides who will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots. Your gorilla tracking will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorilla family.
The time taken to track the gorillas can be as few as 2 hours to as many as 7 hours. Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them.

Day 16: Drive to Kisoro

Day 17: Golden Monkey Tracking
After breakfast, you will transfer to Mgahinga National Park headquarters for either full day golden monkey habituation experience or half day golden monkey trekking. You will be briefed about the dos and don’ts in the presence of the golden monkeys and then proceed to the mountain/forest for your trek. You will be allowed enough time with researchers if you choose to do golden monkey experience and only one hour if you choose to do golden monkey trekking - (optional) gorilla tracking. Return to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 18: Road Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi located in Kabale district and believed to be the deepest Lake in Uganda. Lake Bunyonyi is seen as the best place to relax after your gorilla trek. A boat cruise will take you to several islands located in lake Bunyonyi each with its different history. You may also choose to hike hills surrounding Lake bunyonyi or do some birding

Day 19: Lake Mburo Park
Early breakfast and departure for Lake Mburo national park situated half way between Entebbe and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, game drive to the Lake Mburo camp arriving in time for a late lunch. Lake Mburo Park is home to zebra, eland and impala, and teaming with other wildlife and birdlife as well.
In the afternoon you will be taken for a boat ride on Lake Mburo, it time allows a game drive on your way back to the camp.

Day 20: Transfer to Entebbe airport for Departure
Early morning game drives before your return to Entebbe; stop at the equator for photo opportunities and curio shopping. Transfer to the Entebbe airport to connect with your international flight out.
